Fireworks CS4 Beta Available!

So Fireworks is often underappreciated and outshined by Photoshop’s penetration and audience.  But Fireworks has power beyond Photoshops.  More layer modes, better at optimizing, way better at web graphics and page creation.  The CS4 version has something that the Photoshop team should steal from (below).  But judge for yourself by downloading the Beta here.

Dreamweaver CS4 Beta Available!

That’s right.  DW CS4 beta available on labs! Download it now, but I have to warn you that supposidly it will only work for one day in June due to “an error in a line of code”.  Either way, here’s my favorite new feature.  A hat tip to GoLive…

eSeminar: Put Your Print Assets in Motion

Tomorrow I have an exciting, free Adobe eSeminar planned:

Put Your Assets in Motion - Create and Deploy Print Creative Across Multiple Media
Wednesday, May 21, 2008 10:00 A.M. PDT

Description: In this session, you’ll learn how easy it is to move your print design from InDesign to multiple media deliveries such as the web, mobile, and even video! You’ll get a solid understanding of web, mobile and video design, while maintaining the integrity of the brand across all media.

In more detail, what I plan on showing is:

  1. Create an interactive PDF content using InDesign
  2. Export InDesign content for the web
  3. Create/edit video using Photoshop
  4. Import Photoshop into Flash
  5. Export Illustrator assets to Flash for mobile devices
  6. Export XML from InDesign to use in other mediums (mobile, web)

3D Video Like You’ve Never Seen Before

From NAB ‘08.  Imagine playing a video and, while it’s playing, rotate it to a different angle.  Immersive Media did a great job.  Check it out.
